The story
Montevideo is like a smaller version of Buenos Aires with incredibly warm, friendly people. The architecture is similar but grittier, with an incredible collection of colonial homes on tree-lined streets that’s an artist’s dream. I created this scene to capture a perfect Montevideo moment: a delivery person with bright pink cargo boxes, probably bringing something delicious, while a man and woman chat on their balcony above the neighborhood panadería (gluten-free!). It’s the power of the corner store—these local bakeries anchor every block and bring the community together.
