Steve Zwillinger, San Francisco.
Steve Zwillinger is a San Francisco digital artist who spent his career as an advertising creative director. Zwilly Prints began as a booth at the Noe Valley Night Market and has grown into collections from San Francisco, London and the Cotswolds, Buenos Aires, and New York.
How the work is made
Each piece starts with a walk and a camera. Steve photographs fragments of real places: a cornice, a shop sign, a balcony rail, a stretch of cobbles. Back at his computer, he rebuilds them digitally, layer by layer, then fills the street with people, dogs, cars, and small stories of his own invention. The result is a place you recognize, turned up a little brighter than real life.

Prints are made to order by Level Frames on archival paper, in the size you choose, framed or unframed, and shipped ready to hang.
