Location-based art for independent hotels

Custom art that captures your neighborhood’s character — not generic abstracts that could hang in any hotel.

How it works

Discovery: We have a conversation about your neighborhood, property, and aesthetic.

Concept: I create a digital art piece inspired by your location— showing exactly what location-based imagery could go on your walls. You review it with zero obligation. Love it? We move to Pilot. Not quite right? No hard feelings, no cost.

Pilot: Delivery of one framed piece at materials cost ($350-$650) to prove the concept works in your space.

Scale: If it works, we expand to additional rooms, public spaces, etc., at standard pricing.

Timeline: 4-6 weeks from conversation to installation.

Why location matters

Your guests chose your hotel for its location. Your art should reflect that choice.

I create custom collections specific to neighborhoods — not generic city views, not catalog art. Each piece captures the architectural details, energy, and character that make a location distinct and uniquely yours.

Location. Location. Location.

Meet the artist, Steve Zwillinger

For years I’ve been creating location-specific art that people buy for their homes — turning neighborhoods into vibrant prints that capture the unmistakable essence of a place.

Which got me thinking: independent hotels could use this too.

While chains can be anywhere, your hotel is SOMEWHERE. Your guests chose your location specifically. So why should your walls look like they could be in any hotel, anywhere?

I immerse myself in your neighborhood, capture what makes it unique, and create collections that tell your location’s story. Art that reminds guests why they’re staying with you instead of that big chain.
